REAL GAME
Not a website but a very powerful classroom tool that can be adapted to incorporate a lot of citizenship. The Real Game has arrived in Britain from Canada and is now strongly establishing itself with a UK version. Pupils can follow the game from year 6 to year 11. Excellent 'life' simulation and the kids love it too! The Game has a strong careers orientation hence Connexions involvement.

New website asks young people what they want. Seven hundred young people have contributed to a new government website which is aimed at 11-18 year olds and provides a range of information on topics such as bullying, the environment, volunteering and the dangers of under-age drinking. Planning a gap year, healthy eating and keeping safe on the web are also covered. 'How government works' contains an A-Z of politics, a quick guide to government and information on how bills and laws are developed.
